It seems Chord Overstreet a.k.a Sam is ready to move on from Glee. Some paparazzi recently spotted Chord outside a Beverly Hills casting agency. Chord was told he could appear on Glee next season, just not in any kind of “regular” capacity. It seems there are some stories left to tell with Sam, and Chord leaving would prevent them from going forward. Of course, whether Chord wants to appear on the show next season remains to be seen.
